Description
Sausage with pancake on a stick is the ultimate grab-and-go breakfast. Easy to make, fun to eat, and perfect for busy mornings.
Ingredients
8 pre-cooked sausage links
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Vegetable oil for frying
8 wooden sticks or skewers
Instructions
1. Insert skewers into each sausage link.
2. In one bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In another bowl, mix egg, milk, and vanilla.
4. Combine wet and dry ingredients into a thick batter.
5. Heat oil in a skillet (2 inches deep).
6. Dip sausages in batter, coat evenly.
7. Fry 2–3 minutes until golden brown, turning once.
8. Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with syrup or fruit.
Notes
Make sure sausages are fully cooked before battering.
Use firm sausage to avoid breaking while skewering.
Freezes well—reheat in oven or air fryer.
Add cinnamon or nutmeg to the batter for a twist.
